Many decisions on disability policies are made throughout the year by workgroups, commissions, advocacy groups and agencies. We monitor these decisions to ensure the rights of people with autism are protected where these decisions are being made.
The Behavioral Health Commission, the Disability Commission, the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities, and workgroups that are created by the legislature every session are just a few of the places where the voices of autistics and their families should be present and advocating.
